These images were taken at a BDSM studio in Chicago. I say in because I live 40 minutes away, but after the commute its all worth it. Holy Mountain BDSM studio has a meet up monthly and they provide a mistress for your shooting pleasure. The biggest thing this group has taught me is the difference between a photographer interested in shooting a beautiful women and the photographers that come for the sexual satisfaction. The giveaway are all the images some photogs shoot but never post online for others to see and learn from. But besides those few photogs the rest of us learn something new every time we get together. It is a great group if you are looking to expand you knowledge with other professional and amateurs. This was the first meet up I attended back in June, and learned alot about natural light from the windows. I also got to play with another photogs wide angle lens. This shoot I took full advantage of the 2.8 f stop that I had on the lens and did alot of different angles and perspectives. In this image I tossed my focus on her pink ring on her finger and let her face bur out into the background. I am a big fan of very short depth of field causing a point of interest where most normally wouldn’t. This image is another example of the use of natural light your best choice of light if you can harness it the correct way.  Plus you don’t have to worry about having your bag or box of AA batteries with you. (hopefully charged)
