Alisha Longtin called me up one day at the end of Sr. year in 2009, and asked me for some portraits. Next thing I know is Alisha and her best friend are at my front door with 4 bags of clothes. Despite having a years supply of shoes in the room it was a great shoot. I had my assistant on hand to help with my lighting and posing. I like to have a second person on hand to double check hair and final posing before we get to far into shooting. For her shoot I set up my studio with a white floor and background for a seamless white scene. I had two strobes set up (camera left and right) to overexpose the floor and white background with one main strobe (camera center) with a umbrella in front of Alisha. Alisha and I were very happy with the results, and we even had some pictures and props from her high school years to wrap up her Sr. portraits.
Please let me know what you think for the shoot and please ask if you have any questions about the process.
